BEGIN!

  With every ending comes a new beginning. I love new beginnings. They bring a fresh start... a season, a birth, a new school year, a job, a friendship, an opportunity. New beginnings give us the option to grow our faith- faith in an ending that is not yet in sight.

   Pres. Dieter F. Uchtdorf taught:

 " 'The Lord said to Abraham, “My name is Jehovah, and I know the end from the beginning; therefore my hand shall be over thee' ( Abr. 2:8)...today I say to you that if you trust the Lord and obey Him, His hand shall be over you, He will help you achieve the great potential He sees in you, and He will help you to see the end from the beginning." (Ensign, May 2006)

   Begin with the end in mind. We don’t always know the details of our future. We do not know what lies ahead, but by exercising our faith and believing in our potential, we can achieve great things. The greatest is the ultimate ending of joyfully living again in the presence of our Heavenly Father.

  Two weeks ago, we sent home three missionaries who ended valiantly. They now face new beginnings.  May they find joy in the new opportunities that come their way!  We already miss them!
